Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Kiki & Co. - Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread Recipe

Fall is by far my favorite season. I live for the cooler weather, football season and recipes. One that I particularly love is pumpkin chocolate chip bread. I use this recipe, and can tell you, it's beyond delicious. There's something magical about the pumpkin/chocolate combination, and it's a recipe that even my non-pumpkin loving friends and family enjoy. Although the recipe makes 4 mini loaves, I've also used it to make muffins, both regular and mini. I'm partial to making the loaves and sharing with family and friends though. They're always a hit!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Recipe by The Butter Half for Aubrey Kinch

1 cup sugar
1 stick of butter
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
3/4 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together sugar, butter and eggs in a stand mixer until light and fluffy. Combine the flour, baking soda, and spices together in a sifter, and sift half of it into the sugar mixture. Add the pumpkin, mix well, and then sift in the remaining flour. Fold in the chocolate chips last. Divide mixture into 4 greased mini loaf pans and bake for 24 minutes. (27 minutes is what works for me.)
