5 Beauty Buys to Try
As the seasons change, so does my beauty routine, and warmer temps are the perfect excuse to try new things. Today I'm back with a few new favorites to share, and have my eye on this see-through pouch to put them all in. (It comes in this size, too.)
I finally decided to give this hair rinse a try after trying and really liking the ACV salt scrub and dry shampoo. I was a bit skeptical because (a) I'm picky when it comes to shampoo & conditioner and (b) you use it in place of both. I was certain my hair wouldn't feel as clean as when I use my normal shampoo and conditioner, but I was wrong. My hair feels surprisingly clean, soft and smooth when I use this, and dare I say, my color looks fresher. I use it a couple days a week, and especially on days when I need a guaranteed good hair day. P.S. dpHue is really fun to follow on Instagram, as is founder, Justin Anderson.
This styling cream is perfect for fine hair. I find it makes my hair smooth and soft and I swear it also speeds up my blow dry time. It's especially great on days I use a curling iron for waves.
I don't use any kind of power or foundation on the regular, but after my skin got unusually angry from trying a new product, I needed something with a bit more coverage. This powder is sheer and buildable, and gives my skin a soft, even tone. It also happens to feel like I'm not wearing anything at all, and really looks like my skin, just better. It's also SPF 50.
I typically use a powder for my blonde eyebrows, but was intrigued when I saw a display for this claiming it was almost as good as microblading. I have to say, it's pretty fantastic. The marker-like tip makes it easy to use, and if you're a fellow blonde, the light ash is the most natural color I've ever come across for light brows.
I love this stuff so much! It's a base and top coat that gives any polish a gel like finish, aka super shiny and long wearing. I'm a week in with my current polish (Essie's Mademoiselle) and it still looks perfect. It also dries quickly (a must for me!)
