Terms of Design

Monday through Friday  |  Hours Vary

Although I'm at my desk during the week, my hours do vary greatly, with much of my design work happening at night. Please note, in an effort to maintain a proper work/life balance, I try not to work on weekends and holidays.

Payments are accepted through Paypal only. A non-refundable deposit of $175 is required to guarantee a spot on my design queue.

Once I am ready to begin work on your design, you will be sent a remaining balance invoice, which must be paid in full before the design process can begin.

Rush orders require half the total design fee upfront and the other half after the first round of proofing.

After you receive the initial mock-up (Blogger) or web logo (Squarespace), I will provide up to three reasonable revisions during the design process. Any revisions beyond the three may require additional fees.

Once your design is installed, any changes you request that are not a result of an error on my part are subject to a fee of 25+.

Kiki & Co. Creative is not liable for any photos or design elements provided by clients. Please be sure to have permission before submitting any elements or photography to use in your design.

If you would like to use an image from a stock image site, please purchase the file and send it to me when we begin the design process.

All correspondence between you and Kiki & Co. Creative is confidential and may not be shared or forwarded to others without my expressed written consent.

I will need access to your Blogger or Squarespace login info during the design process. I will not share or sell your information under any circumstances.

Due to the nature of design work, refunds will not be issued after any part of the design process has been done, including the design board.

Should you choose to terminate a project for any reason, you will have a design credit in the amount of any invoices you paid for one calendar year. Deposits are non-refundable.

I'm currently only accepting projects by email at the moment, which means all communication about the design is done that way. I've developed a process to make our correspondence go smoothly and find that being able to look back through our email thread is incredibly important during the design process.

Most design projects take 4-6 weeks once we begin the process, however some take as long as 6+ months.

It's important to keep in mind that the design process is organic, depending on many variables (revisions, complexity of the design, etc.) Your patience during the process will absolutely yield the best possible result.

My role in the process is to design the main template of your blog or website. You are responsible for adding the actual page copy, image and sidebar content unless we have agreed otherwise.

If you would like for me to design graphics for the content of your pages, please contact me for a quote.

Printing Disclaimer

I do best to ensure all printed materials come out as close to perfect as possible. However, colors, paper and quality vary, making the printing process a tricky one. I recommend you request a hard proof before printing a large quantity and am happy to trouble-shoot any problems that may arise.

Please note, Kiki & Co. Creative cannot be held responsible for unsatisfactory printing results and does not issue refunds.

A link to Kiki & Co. Creative will be placed at the bottom of the page to credit me as the designer of your template. This logo must remain as long as you have any elements designed by me applied, including the web logo.

Once your design is installed, your files are deleted unless you choose to have them stored ($15 fee), making them available for future tweaks and updates.

All designs and coding are property of Kiki & Co. Creative, including everything on this site.

By submitting your order + deposit, you are acknowledging that you’ve read, understand and agree to my terms of design.
