Terms of Design
Monday, Wednesday, Friday are my typical office days. My hours do vary greatly, with much of my design work happening at night. In an effort to keep my creative batteries charged, I try not to work on weekends and holidays.
Payments are graciously accepted through Paypal. I will invoice you directly via email throughout the process. The payment schedule is as follows: $125 deposit is required to secure your spot on the design queue, 50% of the remaining balance is due at the start of the design process, and the remaining 50% is due after the first round of proofing.
For rush orders, the payment schedule is as follows: 50% is required to begin the project, and the remaining half is due after the first live site preview.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations + Refunds
Due to the nature of design work, refunds will not be issued under any circumstances. Should you choose to terminate a project for any reason, you will have a design credit in the amount of any invoices you paid for one calendar year.
Proofing + Revisions
You will be granted 3 rounds of revisions during the design process. Although it's rare, additional revisions are billed at $25 per round after the first 3 should you need more.
You are responsible for providing all site imagery for you site. Please be sure to have permission before submitting any elements or photography to use in your design. Kiki & Co. Creative is not liable for any photos or design elements provided by clients.
Confidentiality + Access
All correspondence between you and Kiki & Co. Creative is confidential and may not be shared or forwarded to others without my expressed written consent.
I will need access to your Blogger or Squarespace login info during the design process. I will not share or sell your information under any circumstances.
I understand that you may need assistance with troubleshooting, updating design elements, etc. from time to time. I try to limit any charges for updates, however, if the edits require a considerable amount of time, a small fee may be required. Please contact me with any need that arises and I'll happily give you a quote on potential fees and timing.
I typically like to work via email. There are so many details to cover, and it's incredibly helpful to be able to look through our correspondence during the process. I do schedule occasional calls as needed but find the email method absolutely works the best.
Many factors determine the timeline for a project (complexity of design, number or revisions, etc.) The entire creative process is unique and is best not rushed. That being said, my goal is to keep things moving at a steady pace to accommodate any launch goals you may have.
It's important to keep in mind that the design process is organic, and your patience during the process will absolutely yield the best possible result.
Should you need to pause the design process for any reason, you will be added to the next available queue spot once you are ready to resume the project.
My role in the process is to design the main template of your blog or website. You are responsible for providing page copy and images.
I do best to ensure all printed materials come out as close to perfect as possible. However, colors, paper and quality vary, making the printing process a tricky one. I recommend you request a hard proof before printing a large quantity and am happy to trouble-shoot any problems that may arise.

A link to Kiki & Co. Creative will be placed at the bottom of the page to credit me as the designer of your site. This logo must remain as long as you have any elements designed by me applied.
